Changing The Date Format In Joomla

Joomla is created by a dedicated staff of volunteer programmers from around the world so that it makes sense that Joomla can be configured in any of the many date formats used in pretty much every country. It’s very important, however, that you configure your website’s dates to match the standards of whatever country you plan on having most of your visitors come from.

Joomla’s design keeps the date standard in a pretty easy-to-get-to spot but the internal coding it uses for it’s formatting may be unfamiliar to non-programmers. We show you where Joomla’s date formatting is located and how to place the code so that it will appear in any format that you wish.

Skill Level: Beginner

This video course comes with a PDF class sheet so that you can have it to refer to while watching the video class and later when you make the changes to your Joomla website.

Gday, Merely wanted to let you know your web site isn’t loading properly on my iphone. Do you know if there’s some setting I need to use to make it show properly? Everything is out of line.

Not sure why you would be having a problem. We checked at the time we were setting up the site and I just checked again and the pages appear correctly through the Safari / iPhone web browser.’
