Changing The Width Of A Template In Joomla
Most templates you will use with Joomla have a default width based on the ideas of the template’s designer. But what if you would like a different width, based on your own needs and/or the needs of a client? It’s fairly easy in most cases to find where the width call out is specified for your Joomla theme and change it to the optimum width for your site.
This video tutorial shows you where to look for and how to change the width of the whole template, or just one or more columns within the template. Many of your Joomla templates basic parameters are located in the same set of files and changing the width of your template could be the start of customizing your Joomla template to match the look and feel that you want for your website.
