As a Joomla developer, you know that the default title on a fresh install of Joomla will have “Welcome to the Frontpage” as the original title of the home page. This is not only bad from a search engine optimization point of view, it is also something that any website owner will want to change to conform with the rest of their site. Often, this is the first thing a client will want to change when presented with a site you developed for them in Joomla.

Cleaning up this basic configuration is one of the first steps to customizing your joomla website.
